Dr. Morrison has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at the State University of New York College of Optometry for 33 years and was the Instructor of Record for the Practice Management II course which he taught for 10 years. He maintains a private practice in the Mid-Hudson Valley with office locations in New Paltz, New York and Montgomery, New York both of which serve as External Rotation Sites for Fourth Year Interns at SUNY College of Optometry. Dr. Morrison received his Bachelor of Arts from Queens College of the City University of New York in 1981 and his Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 1985. He has been a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry since 1988 and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry since 2014. He has served as an Ambassador for the American Board of Optometry to New York State. Dr. Morrison is a member of the Hudson Valley Optometric Society, of which he has served as President and continues to sit on the Board as an At-Large Member. He has frequently presented at the American Academy of Optometry and has several times traveled to South Africa to lecture on Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease.

Dr.Morrison è stato un docente di assistenza clinica presso il SUNY (State University of New York) per 33 anni con una cattedra per il corso di “Record for the Practice Management II” che ha tenuto per 10 anni. Ha spesso tenuto conferenze all'American Academy of Optometry e ha svolto diversi seminari sulla Primary Care e sulle patologie oculari in Sud Africa
